The Environmental Forum of PACG Quad Cities is hosting an event to celebrate Earth Day on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Quad City  Botanical Center, 2525 4 th Avenue, Rock Island, IL. Mr. Ray Wolf will present recent NOAA climate data, and explain projected outcomes, with an emphasis on how climate change will impact the Mid-West.

Mr. Wolf is the Science and Operations Officer at the National Weather Service (NWS) in Davenport, IA. He previously worked in Denver, CO on modernizing the NWS, and in Stoneville, MS with farmers and producers in the Mid-South. Mr. Wolf has a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology and a Master of Science in Agricultural Climatology, both from Iowa State University.

The reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. and Mr. Wolf’s presentation will start at 6:30 p.m. This event is free, and is open to the public. Registration is not required. Parking is available.
